The word
moed
An appointed time. The hour is set first, and everything else follows from it.
Moed · an appointed time
Moed turns mutual interest into one real meeting: a place, an hour, and two people who agreed to be there.
The name
Moed is an old word for an appointed time. Not a date sitting in a calendar, but an hour two people agree on and choose to honour.
Its root is one of the oldest in the languages of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, and it has survived almost unchanged. It is still an everyday word today in both Arabic and Hebrew, and in both it means the same simple thing: an appointment. A time set, and a place to keep it.
That is the whole idea in one word. A meeting that matters does not ask for endless searching. It asks for a place, an hour, and two people willing to be there.
Moed is built for people who would rather meet than message. London is where it happens, so London sits under the name, not inside it.

A place set aside for the meeting, chosen so that neither person travels the whole way.
london
Every appointment lands on a real table in a real room, judged before it is offered.
Not chance. Not a swipe. An appointed moment for two.
How it works
When two people agree, Moed finds the fair middle between the places you each travel from, then offers exactly three tables, one for each kind of meeting. No feed to scroll. One decision to make.
A short first meeting. Forty minutes is enough to know whether there should be a second.
An ordinary sit-down meal, in daylight, with a clear end to it.
A proper evening. A room worth dressing for and a table held in your name.
