Moed is a dating service for London. When two people choose each other, we name the hour, find a table halfway between you and hold it in both your names. All that is left is to arrive.

The name
A moment that only exists if you both come.
Mo’ed is an old word for an appointed time. Not any hour, but the one two people agree to keep. The word runs through the oldest languages of the region, and it has always meant the same thing: a meeting that was decided before it happened.
It is the opposite of chance. Nobody hopes to bump into anyone. Somebody names a day, somebody says yes, and from that second the evening belongs to the two of you before either has left the house.
We built Moed for people who are done with the long chat that never becomes a meeting. You give us a yes. We give you an hour, a table, and a person who said yes too.

How it works
Three appointed hours. You choose one.
When two people like each other, Moed finds the fair middle between the places you each set out from, then offers exactly three tables: one for coffee, one for lunch, one for dinner. No feed to scroll. No week of small talk. One decision, and the evening is set. Moed finds the place and holds the table for you: the setting for a romantic meeting, not the bill for it. What you eat and drink there you pay for yourselves, as on any date.

A short first meeting. Forty minutes is long enough to know whether you want a second, and short enough to leave kindly if not.

Daylight, a proper meal and a clear end. Easy to say yes to, easy to fit into a real week.

A room worth dressing for, a table held in your names, and no reason to hurry. The kind of evening people still tell the story of.
What Moed does not do
The parts we left out on purpose.
- No endless feed built to keep you inside the app.
- No weeks of messaging that end without a meeting.
- No unverified faces: every member passes a live selfie check.
- No venue we have not judged ourselves on room, welcome and rating.
- No empty chair: a date is confirmed by both of you before the table is held.

One payment of £49 before we open. It covers your first twelve months on Moed Core, which is £19 a month from the day we open, and it keeps £19 as your price for as long as you stay a member. It also puts you in the first room in London.

From spring 2027
What Moed costs when we open.
Paid month by month. No annual contract and no tie-in, stop whenever you like.
- Moed Core, £19 a month. Your profile, verified identity, five invitations a month, and every date confirmed by the venue.
- Moed Plus, £39 a month. Invitations without a limit, priority in matching, the partner venues that are not on the open list, and your own record of the evenings that happened.
- Moed Private, £99 a month. A person, not an algorithm, choosing for you. Your profile is unlisted: no one on Core or Plus can see it or write to you, and only another Private member can invite you. You still see the whole city. We make the reservation ourselves and hold the table in your two names. The bill is yours: Moed books the table, it never pays for the meal.
Prices in pounds sterling, per month, VAT included where it applies. Founding members pay nothing for their first twelve months and keep Moed Core at £19 a month afterwards.
Before you pay
Plain terms, in plain words.
One payment of £49 GBP. Nothing renews on its own, and we never charge a card before telling you the price. When Moed opens, membership is monthly. Members must be 18 or over. Moed finds and holds the table; it does not pay the bill. Food and drink on a date are paid by the members themselves, directly to the venue, as on any other date.
Your money stays yours until we open. Every founding payment is held in full and refundable. Ask for it back at any time before the first London wave opens, for any reason, and we return the whole £49 to your card, normally within five working days. If we have not opened within twelve months of your payment, we refund you in full.
By reserving a place you agree to our terms, refund policy and privacy notice. You also have a statutory fourteen day right to cancel, and our policy is wider than it.
Secure payment
Card payments are taken over an encrypted connection by Stripe, our payment provider. MOED LTD never sees or stores your card number. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay.
