Privacy Notice
MOED LTD, company number 17441845. Last updated 6 September 2026.
MOED LTD is the data controller for the personal data described here. Registered office 61 Inverness Mews, London E16 2SP. Contact admin@moed.uk.
What we collect at this stage
Before Moed opens, we collect only what a founding membership needs:
- your email address;
- the fact and amount of your payment, and the last four digits and card type from our payment provider. We never receive your full card number.
When Moed opens and you build a profile, we will collect the information you choose to put in it, and we will tell you then what that involves.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To give you the membership you paid for, and to email you when the first wave opens. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep records of payments and refunds. Basis: our legal obligations, including tax and accounting.
- To keep the service safe and prevent fraud. Basis: our legitimate interests.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.
Who else sees it
Our payment provider processes the payment. Our email provider carries our messages to you. Our hosting provider serves this website. Each of them acts on our instructions and only for these purposes.
Where it is held
Data is held in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside those areas, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Membership and payment records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, which is what UK tax law requires. If you ask us to delete your account before then, we keep only the minimum needed for that legal record and delete the rest.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to admin@moed.uk and we will answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
