Inside the app
This is what your place actually buys.
Five screens from the London build. Not a promise, not a description: the product. Moed measures London in minutes, shows you who is genuinely reachable, and turns two yeses into a table and an hour.
01 · The deck
A face on the whole screen, and the one number that decides everything.
The photo runs edge to edge, the way it should. On top of it sits the only figure that matters before you swipe: how long it takes to reach this person. Not two miles as the crow flies, across a river, with a change at Bank. Twenty minutes, door to door.
Everything else lives in a light glass card at the bottom. Nothing shouts, nothing covers the picture. Pull the card up with your thumb and the whole profile comes with it.
- Travel time on the card
- Match score, not a guess
- Photo first
- One thumb, full profile

Somewhere with a proper wine list, no music you have to shout over, and a walk after.
02 · The profile
One pull, and you know who you are talking to.
The same glass card, dragged up. Underneath it is the part other apps hide behind three taps: what they want, what they do, what they speak, and the station where your two journeys meet, with the minutes on each side.
No endless scroll of filler. Six lines that decide whether this is worth an evening, and one written answer in their own words.
- Meeting point calculated for both
- Intentions stated up front
- Written answers, not slogans
03 · The search
Set the minutes, not the miles.
London is not a circle drawn around your postcode. Two miles can be forty minutes; six miles can be twelve. Moed searches the way the city actually works: set how far you are willing to travel in time, and only people you can genuinely reach come back.
Tighten it to twenty minutes on a weeknight, open it to fifty on a Saturday. The list changes with the clock, because so does London.
- Live travel time, both ways
- Tube, rail, car and on foot
- Weeknight and weekend modes

Thursday 12 March · 19:00 · table for two
Moed holds the booking. Both confirm, or nobody goes.
04 · The appointment
Mutual interest becomes a table, an hour, and two people who agreed to be there.
This is the part every other app leaves to you, and it is where most matches quietly die. Moed proposes the place halfway between you, names the hour, and shows both journeys side by side. One tap each and the table is held.
No three weeks of messaging. No we should do something sometime. An appointed time, kept by two people. That is where the name comes from.
- Venue chosen halfway
- Both journeys shown
- Booking held by Moed
05 · The door
A small room, and everyone in it is real.
Moed opens in London with 500 founding places, not five hundred thousand. Every profile is photo verified, every member is 18 or over, and the whole thing is built to UK data rules. You will meet fewer people here, and you will meet them properly.
Your founding place is the first twelve months included, one payment, nothing that renews behind your back.

Founding places
Five hundred people, one city, and a table already held.
£49 once, first twelve months included, fully refundable until we open. You are not buying a promise, you are buying a seat in a room that is deliberately small.
You make your account first, then pay. Not sure what you get before it opens? Read what a founding place is.
Screens are from the London build and may change before launch. Card payments are taken by Stripe over an encrypted connection. MOED LTD never sees or stores your card number.
